Rotating separators

Rotating magnetic separators are devices that use a rotating magnetic drum to remove ferrous metal particles from solid or liquid materials. The magnetic drum, powered by a motor, rotates within a flow of material, capturing ferrous impurities by the magnetic field generated. These particles are retained on the surface of the magnetic drum while the cleaned material continues on its path, effectively separating the metal particles from the stream.
Use of rotating magnetic separators:
Rotary magnetic separators are used in a wide range of industrial applications where ferrous metal particles need to be removed continuously and efficiently. Key uses include:
Water Treatment
In water treatment plants, rotating magnetic separators are used to remove iron and other dissolved or suspended ferrous particles, improving water quality and preventing scaling in pipes.
Food Industry
These separators are used to ensure that food products such as grains, flours, sugars or powders are free of ferrous contamination, protecting product quality and consumer safety.
Mining and raw materials industry
In ore or bulk material processing, rotating magnetic separators are used to separate metal particles from ores or sands, optimize processing procedures and reduce wear on machines.
Chemical and Petrochemical Industry
In these industries, rotating magnetic separators are used to remove ferrous impurities from liquids and powders, ensuring the purity of the final product and protecting plants from damage caused by metal contamination.
Metal Treatment
Rotary separators are used to remove ferrous metal particles from cooling and lubricating fluids used in metal processing, improving process efficiency and extending plant life.
Recycling industry
In recycling plants, rotating magnetic separators are used to separate ferrous metals from recyclable materials, improving the sorting process and increasing the purity of the recycled material.
Rotary magnetic separators are ideal for high-volume and continuous applications because of their fast and effective separation capability. Their robust construction and automatic operation make them particularly suitable tools for industrial environments where constant, high-efficiency removal of ferrous particles is required.
